Book 9 p.45 dated 10 Dec.1710, proved 18 May 1711

………unto my son Wm Owens one parcel or tract of land adjoining to Richard and John Taylor and so running into the woods adjoining on the eastward side on a place called the cow pens and along the old road going to the western branch as far as the first branch where and on southwest side joining on a new road as goes to the western branch as far as the first branch where there has been timber bridge and so up the northward side of the main run as far as the place called the live oak glade so from thence to the crooked chin opine before mentioned.

……… unto my son John Owens my plantation I now live on with ……. Adjoining to the old road going to the western branch as far as the crooked chin opine and so joining upon Edward Lewelling his land onely my true and loving wife Mary Owens to have her life in the manner plantation without any interruption.

………. Unto my son Edward Owens all my land on the southwest side of the new road going to the wetern branch and so joining on John Taylor and George Ballingtine's lands according as the courses of that land runs.

………. Unto my son Thomas Owens that part. or percell of my land which is called by the name of the western branch ridges and so joining on Edward Hues and Richard Lewelling and Edward Lewelling …. Cut no timber …. Until he come of age also will that my four sons William, John, Edward and Thomas personally enjoy there lands in every part or parcel accordingly as I have given it to them and there heirs lawfully begotten of there bodies for ever and in case either of my sons dies without issue that part or parcel of land shall be equally divided amongst the other three brothers and so I entail it from age to age that it may not be sold except it be from one brother to another.

……… unto my daughter Mary Owens pewter to be delivered to them at there marring day
……..unto my daughter Elizabeth Owens pewter
……..my two eldest daughters Ann and Mary
……My three brother in law Edward Davis, Richard Lewelling and Richard Taylor ………sole executors

Note: .... My three brother in law ..... So William had three sisters; Janet Owens married Richard Taylor,   ? Davis,  ? Lewelling.
